Nowadays, long-distance wireless communication technologies include GPRS/CDMA, Radio Modem, Wireless Spread Spectrum Microwave, Wireless Bridge, Satellite Communication, and Short-wave Communication. They are widely used in remote areas that are not suitable for wiring.
